19.08.08Grab Rails and new Enhanced Toilet Section
To complement our toilet and bathroom signage and coloured toilet seats, we have expanded the premium toilet range to include raised seats and hinges. Several of our care homes pointed out that many residents have difficulty sitting down and standing up from a standard height toilet and a raised version was needed. To ensure further safety and ease of use we have introduced a range of high visibility grab rails, which ideally should be of a contrasting colour to the surroundings and match the toilet seat colour. The grab rails are strong, high quality and durable to provide very stable support.

17.11.07New Products Added to the Range
Following the enthusiastic response by 100’s of delegates at the Harrogate Dementia conference and further discussions following, it has been decided that the portfolio of FIND products will be supplemented with additional products to enhance residential environments.
- We will shortly have available Red and Yellow toilet seats to combine with the red and yellow signage to provide the clearest indications for locating the Toilets. Evidence suggests dramatic improvements in continence can be achieved by making this area more visible than any other thus making a significant contribution to an improved residential environment.
- Self adhesive door prints designed to provide a highly durable front door appearance to residents bedroom. Using the highest quality printing techniques a self adhesive vinyl is printed and then protected with a durable laminate. A range of door designs will become available and can be printed with or without hardware giving the option for the home to provide real knockers and letterboxes if preferred. In conjunction with Memory boxes this product is designed to provide a durable, and cost effective method to enhance the environment and promote the feeling of ‘home’ as well as aiding residents in identifying their room.
- In the same way as the door graphics are produced, we are developing a range of mural images

05.11.07Product Unveiled

The innovative and unique FIND Dementia Signage products were unveiled at the Harrogate UK Dementia Congress at the beginning of November.
An initial portfolio of twelve designs and a Memory Box were presented to the hundreds of industry delegates who came to Harrogate from all parts of the UK and far beyond.
Many helpful and constructive suggestions for possible improvements were provided freely and were clearly prompted by an enthusiasm, and in some people, a tangible relief that there was now a serious product available that had been properly designed to make a difference.
The overall opinion of the signs was one of fascinated and eager approval and the royal seal of approval was provided by the eminent and respected consultant Graham Stokes whose input contributed significantly to the designs and inspired our confidence to invest time and effort into the designs.
